The first RATT album in years with the original line up ( minus the dead guy, replaced by the dude from Quiet Riot) is the closest the RATT sound has gotten to OUT OF THE CELLAR and INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY since…well those albums. And that is a good thing. This is RATT. And it sounds amazing. It is a great album.
Steven Pearcy’s voice has lost very little. The guitar hooks are classic RATT….and the songs are fun. Even the bad songs still SOUND good.
If you are a fan of the genre, you will LOVE this album. If you think metal of the 80’s is now akin to disco music, you will piss and moan and accuse RATT of not modernizing their sound.
And if you do think that, fuck you. This shit isnt for you.
